Back in the hospital :

So had my appendix out on Friday and have been in crazy pain since. Well long story short last night an today the redness started at my incision and I can barely walk due to pain. So I went back to the hospital for another admission for ? Days for IV antibiotics. Miss my boys and timing is poor since J is starting his 6 week growth spurt. Grandma is staying overnight with both boys hopefully she makes it since he doesn't sttn yet. Just wanted to vent a bit. I hate being incapacitated.

I am sorry you have sure had a tough time. I had to go to the ER and have my appendix out when Jericho was almost 4 weeks old, it was tough on Dad and Grandma. My FIL was nice enough to pay for a "mothers helper" for a month after I came home. She helped a LOT. Recovery from that surgery was harder on me than my CS. Hang in there.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! I hope the antibiotics work quickly and your up in no time. Don't worry about Grandma, she'll be fun and the boys are happy, I'm sure.

Thanks guys. The reopened a couple of the sites and cleaned out infection/pus/ and packed it. Hurts like a biiiiych but I know it's necessary. I won't let DH bring kiddos to visit since I have open wounds for now which has been hard. I'm thankful for technology. I've gotten text and video messages and was able to FaceTime today which had helped the separation be a little less painful.
