LO losing hair now??

DD was born with a ton of long hair - everyone exclaims about it when they see her. Now I notice it's falling out?! There's a bunch of patches and I can see it in her crib on the mattress when she wakes up.

I have her Dr's appt Thurs so I'll ask but has anyone else had a LO lose it this late?

    totally normal. my boy lost almost all his hair ..and he is growing it back now

    Another vote for normal. DD1 went through this around 56 months old. She had lots of dark hair then started losing it and was bald for a long time before it started to grow back.

    DD has had a small balding patch on the back of her head for about a month now. She's exclusively a belly sleeper, so I know it's not just from being on her back a lot.
