I'm on cd1 and was told we will be doing clomid day 59 and a trigger shot. This is out first cycle and I'm just wondering some if the Side effects of the meds. I have a two year on dd and hope I'm not to uncomfortable because of the meds
Clomid makes me a little crazy. Over emotional and really edgey. I take it out mostly on DH and my mother. I have a 3 year old DS but I try to control myself around him. Its horrible because i can totally feel myself being a complete b****.

The longer I am on Clomid the more side effects I have. Not too bad (according to DH) but I do get hot flashes at night.
And just to let ya know, the trigger shot will give you pregnancy symptoms, but it should be out of your system 10 days after, so I'd wait to check for symptoms until then. The worst for me the how tired I would get at night. I usually go to bed around 11:30 and I was falling asleep around 9:00.
Best of luck!
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10
TTC #2 since Dec 2011
BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12
I had a lot of s/e with Clomid. Insomnia, major night sweats, lots of ovarian pain (not just around ovulation), no CM, and I basically felt bi-polar. I'm on my second round of Letrozole now and the s/e are much less.

I am on the same regiman as you. I am on 2 day of my clomid. I only experienced hot flashes and doing ok with my 1 yr old who likes to bite!

I hope the Clomid works for you!
