Grr...Wonky period?

So AF came back in June and has been on schedule within a day every month since. Well except this month. It was suppose to arrive Thursday maybe Friday, she still is not here. I POAS yesterday afternoon it was negative.

I had this happen once before in 2009 (two weeks late) but this was due to exercising, I went from no exercising to 3+X a week. Back then my Dr. ran a bunch of tests everything came back normal. I have not been stressed, not eating differently, not exercising more, and I'm in a healthy weight range.

I hate this! What gives?

I was relieved by the BFN until MH said "well didn't you get a BFN with Violet before your BFP" I think I just tested too early with V(day before AF). Four days after a missed period I would think would trigger a PG test.

oh gee, that is stressful. AF has always been regular for me from the time I started until I got pregnant except for once when it was mysteriously missing for 3 months. It showed back up and was normal again. I got all BFNs, but I think something was going on, but all tests came back normal. Hopefully AF shows up and it was just due to some stress you didn't realize you were under.

Even on birth control, my period isn't completely normal, yet. I've had AF since December and this month I started spotting a week before my pack of pills was finished.

I'm sure your body is just catching up and AF will show up soon. Keep us posted.

I wish I could be more helpful, but my period is always wonky thanks to PCOS. I have no idea what being regular is like! This month my period stopped on the 11th and came back on the 18th and is going strong. Thanks for the break, mother nature.

Hopefully AF comes soon for you. Would you just die if you got another BFP? Is there a chance? Wink

Would I die? No, I just think it would be a lot to handle! (plus I get super sick) MH on the other hand just might Wink He will probably go out and get that Vasectomy at the next available appointment.

You probably just ovulated late this month, for whatever reason, which is pushing back your period. I wouldn't stress about it too much. These things happen once in awhile. If it's not here by the weekend test again. good luck!

Well, I think AF missed you and came for me! Ugh, my cycles have always been irregular, but usually I had long cycles. Now I am having cycles that are 20 days or less! I weaned just last month so hopefully everything settles down soon. Your hormones could still be adjusting. Or your ovaries read that ute lock down post and were upset by it.
