You have been awesome the past few weeks. I love the mid 80's weather. But seriously, you are going to fall into the 40's on Saturday? Just in time for the Halloween party? Come on...

I can't wait until you get here, so we can drive to NY and enjoy the Macy's Parade. As soon as Halloween is over, I'm putting up my Christmas tree!
Dear DS,
Mommy's so glad you love squash! You're going to grow up so strong and healthy and I can't wait to feed you more squash tonight. Please STTN tonight like you did on Monday, that was perfect.
Dear SO,
You have been so great with DS, we love you dearly! I can't wait to go to Bush Gardens with you on Saturday night for Howl-O-Scream.
Please approve my hardship withdraw. The medical bills from a week in the hospital are killing us. We are barely keeping our heads above water. I NEED my MONEY! Thanks!
Broke Mama
Husband,
Thanks for keeping it together while I freak out about money.
Thank you for eating yesterday and going to sleep well for the babysitter/new nanny during her trial night and not scaring her away. LOL
Also, thank you for being super cute.
Love, Mommy
Dear work,
Sorry I've been a lazy bum the last couple of weeks. I feel much better now that DS seems to be gaining weight and I see and end in sight to daycare and a huge relief with the new nanny coming on in a week and a half
Your Employee
Dear DH,
Thank you for being an awesome father and husband!
I am so glad that while I was gone my students were out of control and there was really no learning going on. Now, maybe you will appreciate me and stop telling me I am doing everything wrong!
Sincerely,
Your co-worker who hates being here
Dear Students,
I know you had fun while the sub was gone. Now, you have to behave. I am too tired to put up with your nonsense. No, you can't go to the bathroom whenever you want and no, you can't get up and run around the room.
Sincerely,
your sleep deprived teacher
Dear DD,
Please don't be fussy for grandma again today. It makes her nervous! Love, Mommy
There's not a single day I don't regret coming back to you. I hated you before my DD came along adn I hate you more now. I can't stand the drive to you or the drive home. If we didn't need the money from you I make or the insurance I carry because of you I'd leave you right away. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you.
Dear Husband,
Please, please, please find a job. a job that pays money and has benefits. Find any job that can support us. I don't want to live like royalty. I just don't want to live out of our car. I don't regret marrying you, from you came our DD but I do regret not pushing you to make at least half of what I make by time we had our DD. Why can't you man up and take care of your family so I can stay home.
Dear Daughter,
I am so sorry for all the pain and anger I brought into your life because I am a working mom. I hated my mother for working still I hope that you don't grow up hating me. Thinking as I did, that your parents would choose to be at work rather than be with me. I'd alsways rather be with you. I'll always love you more than my work even though my actions don't show that. Most especially I am sorry for missing out on your first year, missing that bonding time with you. It's no wonder that you are tantruming all the time now. I would to oif I could. Please know I'll always love you.

Thank you for being the light of my life. I thank my lucky stars (and the powers that be) that you are in my life and I can't believe there was ever a day I thought I may not want to have children. I am so excited for the wonderful things life has in store for you and will do everything in my power to keep you safe and happy. I will support your success, push you when you don't want to be pushed, catch you when you fall (most of the time) -- and make a mean chocolate chip cookie. I'm so very glad you found your way into my life.
Your seriously in love with you mother
Dear work,
I understand that we have new clients and that I just got promoted and that there's a lot of pressure right now to do awesome things all the time. However, I have two small children at home, a husband who is working to build a reputation at a new job while also trying to go to school, be a husband and a father. DH and I have really long commutes and our kids go to bed SUPER early. I don't have the energy (or the desire) to give you 100% right now. I can give you 85%. That's really the best I can do right now. I hope it's enough. And if there's any way you can back off a little and let me give 75%, just for a few months, that would be even better.
A stressed employee who needs a break
Dear dog,
You're getting old. You're peeing on the floor a lot. Your teeth are falling out. It takes you a really long time and a lot of coaxing to get up the stairs. Your breath is really stinky all the time. You yelp when you walk. You've had a really, really good life and we love you so much. But if it makes sense for you to move on, I will understand. I'd rather you go now before things get really bad so you don't have to suffer the pain.
Your family.
Dear MIL,
You're in town for a week and a half. Please help out. A lot. And don't be sensitive. Our lives are busy right now and I don't have time to walk on eggshells to make sure your feelings aren't hurt.
I know it's all relative and we all have tough days and different burdens. However, if I meet one more mom who complains how tough it is to be a Mom when she has, at most, a part-time job (that they she "doesn't need" and can change when it no longer satisfies her curiosity), plenty of money for random vacations and pretty much every want, someone(s) else cleaning the house weekly because there just "isn't enough time" for she and her husband to do it, competent parents and in-laws fighting for time with the grandkids so she and her husband can go out whenever they're up for it, I'm going to scream. (Sorry, not a good week and I'm having a feel bad for myself moment).
I am so happy you're feeling better today! You warm my heart by just being you, and I hate seeing you hurt.
Love,
Mommy
Dear DH,
You're a rockstar, and I really appreciate you for everything you do! Thanks for offering to set up at Peanut's school for the Fall Festival since I can't get out of work early. I really appreciate it!
Love,
Your wife
Dear work,
Would someone listen once!? I think we could avoid a lot of nonsense if people would just pay attention. Also, not a fan of some of the BS you're throwing out there. We need to work on some Best Practices and follow them. Making me crazy!
I'm so proud of your hard work and your new job opportunity! I know you'll do great!
Love,
Your wifey
Dear Self,
Stop and take a breath. Everything is going to be OK! You can make it through the next three months of work and school and your externship will be great. And stop stressing about TTC. It will happen when it is supposed to.

Please do a great job tomorrow. I am looking forward to having a clean house! If you do well and DH is happy, we can make this a regular gig . . .

Dear DD,
You are a champ at peeing in the potty! Yay! Now we need to get your BMs in the potty every time. No more BMs in your underwear! Yuck!

Please go smoothly today and let's get that court appearance off calendar for Monday. I do not want to deal with that.
