We went with a smaller agency and had a great experience with them. We brought our baby home in 6 months after sending in our application but were matched within 30 days. I know sometimes people don't trust unheard of agencies but if your looking and live in Minnesota, Iowa or South Dakota check out New Horizons Adoption Agency. They are desperately seeking adoptive families since they are down to 3 waiting families. We had our final post placement visit yesterday and she told us to tell everyone we know they need families and are starting to use profile books from other agencies to give e-moms more choices. You will not be disappointed with them.

Thanks for the info! Do you think they would be a little lax on their rules? My husband and I haven't been married two years.

Thanks for the info! I am actually already working with Bethany in SD, surprisingly they are down to only 15 families or so and they ususally have 20 waiting and a few on hold...you think their might be just a shortage of AP all around?
