We have a 17 month old son and are expecting a daughter the 26th of Dec my hubby thinks we need to carry 2 diaper bags around with us when we go places i am not sure what to think about that part of thinks it is rediculous the other part kinda understands his thinking what do you think? TIA for any advice
Re: hubby thinks we need to carry 2 diaper bags
Wonder if there are bags out there that could zip/unzip sort of like the 2 person sleeping bags do. One side per child that way and would only need to grab one bag when going out with both kiddos.

I'll love you forever Baby Speck
Twinneroo makes huge diaper bags, they are designed for parents with twins, but a good friend of mine has two little ones and she raves about this bag.
I have one for myself and one for my fiance, but two bags to carry plus two babys could be a bit overwhelming, I would not want to even try to manage to hold a coffee or cell phone in that situation!
You can find the Twinneroo bags on amazon!

No, you definitely don't. I had a Jujube Be All with my 2u2 and I did just fine. I would fit 3-4 diapers for each kid, one travel pack of wipes, DS's sippy of water, some sunblock, a snack for him, his epi pen (peanut allergy), some crayons and a car or two to keep him entertained, and those "table toppers" to bring to a restaurant or something. For DD. I threw in an extra outfit, my nursing cover when I was BFing, or a bottle with water and the formula dispenser when I was FFing, an extra binkie, a burp cloth, and a little mini first aid kit from Target. At varying times other random things made their way in there, but those were the basics.
Now I upgraded to the Jujube BFF more for the ease of opening since it is not the messenger style. My older 2 are always handing me things to carry for them and it is easier to have a bag that opens from the top. I am planning on just putting #3's things in there too - an outfit, diapers, nursing cover. DS is no longer in diapers, but I do keep extra undies and pants in my bag in case of an accident for him and some potty toppers for using a public restroom (yuck).
When we were each taking a kid, we used to bring one of those wallet changer things (we got the Target version of this one: https://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Pronto-Changer-Diaper/dp/B000F1SCJK ). Then DS would go off with DH and that.
ETS: Skip hop makes a double duo bag for multiples. DH bought it for me when we had DD, but I never used it - it is huge!! Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Double-Deluxe-Black/dp/B000YFRC84/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1351090067&sr=1-1&keywords=skip+hop+double+duo
We have just this it is actually a tackle bass from bass pro shop and unzips at the half way point into 2 separate bags. I found it and thought gee this would may a great diaper bag with all it's compartments etc. Used it on vacation this summer and fell in love. we split it half with all the time stuff diapers etc. and the other portion with once in a while stuff. When we went to dinner and such just took the diaper half and left the other stuff in the car but then took the whole think when we went to things like the zoo, park etc where we needed like spare clothes, coat (just in case, etc)
This is the one we have. https://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-Qualifier-360-Backpacks/product/10204414/
