I'm reaching out to all of you creative types because I am severely lacking in that department. I'm trying to think of something nice, but relatively inexpensive to do for E's daycare provider. It's a homecare so there's only one woman to worry about, but I'm stuck on ideas. What have you done/are you doing?
Re: Xmas gifts for Daycare providers
Not sure yet...we LOOOVE our DCP and she puts up with a lot from our kiddo, including 7 visits a week from his speech and Sped teachers. Last year we did a $50 GC to a restaurant andwill probably do something similar this year.
My little man at 0-1-2
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
We do in-home daycare and usually give her about a week's extra pay... or close to it now that there's two of them!
I'm planning on doing picture ornaments or something for everyone and will give her one too- something from Oriental Trading probably... quick and easy!
I WAH p/t but my crazy time is in the summer, so at the beginning of the summer I got my babysitter a g/c for a pedicure. I knew that I was going to need her a lot in the summer, and she hardly comes at all in the winter so I wanted to make sure she was thanked in advance.
