whats your boys favorite toy

I'm having a really hard time w/ DH's Christmas gifts.  We have all the big things from DD, but I'd like to get him one nice very boyish toy (our house is so pink),  What do you recommend for a 6 month old.  I'm sort of looking for something he can hold and shove in his mouth, but at 6 months is he too old for that?

    I'd get something that he will like for awhile and use more as he gets older. How about this (VERY popular on the bump) or this which is very "boy"?

    I was going to suggest the FP workbench as well, I just picked one up today secondhand (but never used, awesome!) and my son LOVES it! 6 months old this week, it's a great toy for helping him practice sitting independently, so much to do and several modes of play/music

    My son loves his Fisher Price Peek a Blocks. They're the perfect size for him to pick up and hold and there's all different things inside of them that make interesting noises or are fun for him to look at. He also really likes when we build them into a tall tower so he can kick them over.

    My son's favorite toy lately, our empty Similac container!  I guess what they always say is true, they just want the things that aren't their toys and they shouldn't have!  We don't have them but I have seen the blocks which I am thinking of getting for him.
