I don't like male strippers. Their butts and chest are bumpy from them shaving, they are covered in so much oil you feel like an oil spill duck victim after they grind on you, and they usually stuff their "bulge" area, then proceed to try and smack you with it. NO thank you! lol
I don't like the ombre hair fad going on, to me it just looks like you let your dye job grow out too much and you have many different layers of roots. I also don't like leggings/jeggings, it makes me think of trying to squish meat into sausage casings.
I can't stand when people say "No thank you" when disciplining their kids. It just sounds weird to me. As in "Don't touch that honey, no thank you." It's a certain tone that goes with it, and it doesn't sound like "No, thank you," that you would say when politely declining something. I'm sorry if any of you say this. It just bugs me. My mom had a kid in her nursery school who would throw tantrums and say "nooooo thank youuuuuuu" and I guess it scarred me.
Just watched magic mike and I now know why I never went to a strip club. If I want to look at rock hard bodies I will go to the beach or the gym. The tacky dancing is just a huge turn off for me.
I also agree with angry birds bugs the snot out of me.

I still love Uggs. I don't wear them to work unless it's really snowing and I don't have to meet with any clients. I do look forward to snowy days though as an excuse.
Along with jeggings---Colored jeans--(not to be mean to the person that had her family pics on here last week) But with the people I know rodeo queens where them when in their "gear" and that is it

Wait. Uggs are a UO? Well I don't care, I love the shiit out of mine too.

Colored pants were my THANG when DH and I were dating. ::sigh:: I'm sorry I got rid of those pants. I'm so close to fitting into them again.
I kept one pair of rose colored capris, and I can zip 'em, but they're a bit too snug. I WILL rock them next spring. Despite you hating on my fave fashion trend!! ;P
None of these sound unpopular to me. I've never been around a male stripper, eesome, but I'm sure I'd agree if I had.
I'll admit that Angry Birds only annoys me because I must.get.three.stars. I don't play it often because it takes over my life. It's love/hate.
And regarding colored jeans: I heard (read?) a news story about how colored jeans are actually just a way for the manufacturers to make more money. It is cheaper for them to dye a bunch of fabric one solid color than it is for them to treat denim to get the various denim washes. So you're paying the same amount of money for a pair of pants that cost less to make. I won't buy any because I know they'll go out of style as soon as I decide I like them. I try to buy clothes that will last through multiple fashion trends. I had some green jeans in middle school...but I'm pretty sure I was the only one rockin' the colored jeans back then. The probably also had pleats. (hangs head in shame)
I wear my leggings under my renfaire garb when it is cold out. I would LOVE to find a bright red pair to wear. It would go so well. Or hunter green....
Me in leggings (I'm on the right)
Anyway, my UO..... I'm really thinking of leaving the Bump. It's been really slow, and really dead lately. It's become harder to relate since I don't have A 100% of the time like you ladies do. I feel like my needed support right now is more as a single mom than an August mom.
I don't think leggings under stuff is bad I.e. skirts, dresses, etc.. I wear leggings under skirts all the time because I don't like my legs.
Maybe my UO is that I don't think leggings with a long shirt or sweater are bad, just when they're worn as pants with a tshirt or tank top and they're so tight that I can see the pattern on your underwear. That's not ok.

Do what you need to do, but please don't insinuate that anyone else in this group is taking any time away from their LO by bumping. I am not 100 percent an august mom, I am 100 percent Max's mom. I bump when he is asleep or when I am away from him.
I'm sure that's not how you meant it, but that's kind of how it ended up sounding.
ETA: apparently the bump mobile site does not see the usefulness of percentage signs.

No no no no no that isn't what I meant at all!!! I meant that I only have A for 50% of the week. My XH has A the other half of the week. Our custody agreement is a 50/50 agreement.
I have noticed that other the months, I am posting less and less here, and more on the starting over board. On top of being a mom, I am also dealing with being single and dating and things like that.

I can understand where you are coming from and possibly feeling like you relate more to another board or site. There is no UO with relating more to other individuals. And just because you only have your son half of the time doesn't make your day to day life with a LO any less relative to our lives. That being said, if you can't or don't relate it doesn't mean that you have to leave us! You can always pop in when you find the time to put in your two cents to topics you can relate to.

This, oh this!! Have you all walked into Forever 21, latley? Good god, it scares me. Probably why it is called Forever 21 and not 'Going on 30'!
PS - I also will not be giving up my Uggs anytime soon.
