Zoloft & nursing.

Anyone know the best time to take Zoloft if you are nursing? My LO sleeps well at night, and nurses all day, still every 2 hours at 3 months old.

I wonder if there is a best time to take it to reduce the amount in my milk, or it it's even possible?

I always took it in the morning.  I don't think it matters since it has to build up in your system anyway.  It's ok.

I've just been prescribed Zoloft. My baby will be 2 weks old on Saturday and I'm nursing.  I'm worried about taking it and possible side effects on my baby.  Has your baby had any side effects?

I just got a prescription for it today. The pharmacist suggested taking it at night because it can cause drowsiness.  I am also concerned about taking it. My LO is 10 days old and breastfeeding. But I'm afraid my PPD & anxiety will get out of control if I don't.

Zoloft is the best anti-dep to take while nursing.

I went back and forth about starting Prozac again, but I'm so glad that I finally did. I would have taken Zoloft if I had the choice, but it doesn't work well for me.
