I am not a huge fan of that word...I prefer beaver face...but as I always did while pregnant I am nominating my editor... (remember I am in advertising sales in a very small office) Her is my note she left while I was on my lunch time jog..
M:
While you were walking or whatever Mr. R called about ads...he wasn't sure that size he wanted. He teaches agriculture at X school or maybe it was Y elementary I don't remember. His dad taught at X school years ago. Any way he wants it for next week. I think he started his own business.

Re: What happened to twatwaffle tuesday??
I nominate my employee.
Me: the request off you have for November 1st, is that for a proceedure?
HEr: No, I have a consultation that day.
Me: you asked for an entire day off (using sick time) I can't grant that for a consultation.
Her: My appointment is in Moline, it takes two hours to get there and I can't afford to drive to work and then my appointment and then back to work.
Me: Moline is 45 miles away, it has never taken me more than 1 hour to get there, I am sorry if your personal finances are tight, but I have 2 staff off that day and cannot give you a full day off. Plus sick time is only to cover your appointment, not the rest of the day when you don't feel like driving back to work.
Her: FINE, JUST cancel my request.
She then went to the CEO and filed a complaint that I was disrespecting her HIPPA confidentiality for discussing the approval of her appointment infront of other staff (another staff member was sitting on the bench taking a smoke break with this employee while the discussion went on)
I am nominating my boss.
He is the owner of the small company I work for. To him being the owner means he can talk to everyone like they are stupid. He is extremely inappropriate and yells at everyone in our office to the point that people are scared. I want to quite so bad but I need to find another job first! Hate hate hate him
How nice. I would think that as a professional you would be willing to help with my baby's transition into childcare instead of making me feel like she'll inconvenience you. I understand you and your assistant have other children to look after as well, but that is your JOB. And she won't even be calling me back until 7:30 tonight to let me know about tomorrow.
Btw, I say this as a former child caretaker. I was just appalled and she left a bad taste in my mouth.
I'll nominate some colleagues. I'm a music teacher, so I'm everyone else's "special" (aka planning period). I have 5 contractual minutes between all of my classes to tear down and set up for the next group. They honestly think I'm dumb enough to believe them when every week, they come 5 minutes early because their "clock is wrong" and yet show up 5 minutes late because their clock is still wrong. It can't be wrong both ways within an hour twatwaffle.
And to the one who shows up 5 minutes early every week, and appologizes every week for them getting through the restroom break so quickly, your sub gave away that you mark down the time as 5 minutes early because it fits better with your life. Your special is at 9:55. Not 9:50 while I'm trying to get my other class out the door.

Our fine arts teacher has no break, so when the next class comes earky I feel like my kids are getting short changed!
