Re: Trick or Treat

  • We are going to the mall trick-or-treat and then to a trunk-or-treat if Xander is not too fussy by then.

  • DS will dress up for Boo at the Zoo and for passing out candy. We will probably take him over to the neighbor's to show off the costume, but he won't be trick-or-treating for candy.

  • We are going around our neighborhood. He will probably ride in the wagon a lot of the time because he's usually exhausted that time of day.

  • Yep. We go with DH's family and then back to his sister's house for home made chili.

Yes, Trunk or Treat at church on Sunday and then on our street on Halloween.

It's mainly for DD1 but DD2 is now walking and will have fun once she sees that we get to walk all over and visit people.

    Love your siggy!
  • We are dressing the girls up, and taking them both ToT, but really only DD1 will be getting candy. I *might* give DD2 a little piece, but I just can't think of any type of candy that would be suitable (aka not a choking hazard) for a 15 month old.

  • I am debating going to a trunk or treat on Friday with DD as my first time out with our local MOMS club.  I'm super nervous, though, and it's right after DD's nap so I'm not sure we'll get out of the house in time.

As for Halloween evening, I don't think we're going to bother to dress up.  DH is helping his best friend move that afternoon, and I just know he won't be back in time to do anything.  BUT...I don't really want to hand out candy alone with DD, and I'm not planning on taking her door to door in my neighborhood.  We'll probably just head over to my parents house to hang out for a couple hours.

  • Our apartment has a Halloween party in the lobby. Everyone brings a small bag of candy and the kids split it up and ten they have a costume contest and then the big kids can go out. I was told but some of the other parents that had little little ones last year like 2 and under that it is a great time. It starts at like 6630 and it just the right amount of social interaction and stuff going on that the Lo's don't go nuts.

  • I will be dressing DS up and taking him to my mom's work and DH's work.  I MAY run him over to my sisters after DH's work (it's only about 15 minutes away) so she can see him, but other than that I don't plan on having him ToT.  He's just too little IMO for candy and whatnot, plus I imagine that he is going to be too tired once it's actually time to ToT.

  • I'm unsure what we do. Probably just visit a few houses on our street for neighbors who know us and DD and would like to see her in her costume.

  • We're going to a party at the Osteology Museum. They're giving out candy there, but I think most of it will be eaten by DH.
