I may have found the answer to our sleep issues, LO is a belly sleeper and does well if put on her belly. After talking with many of the nurses I work with I decided to try and put lo on her belly to sleep. I let her fall asleep on my chest (her favorite sleeping spot) and then put her in her pack-n-play on her belly. Of course right when I did this the puppy decided to bark and wake the baby up and I was actually able to pat her butt and shush her back to sleep (That has NEVER worked, she always needs to be picked back up!). She hasn't been down that long but I'm really hoping this works. She is a very very gassy baby and has reflux issues and always seems more comfortable on her stomach. A lot of times at night when she is on her back she wakes up with awful gas pains and pulls her knees to her chest and screams until she farts. I know most people are against belly sleeping but she has been rolling from belly to back since about 1 month old and has been holding her heard up pretty much since the day she was born. Keeping my fingers crosses that this works!!
