DD waking at night

DD has always been a great sleeper unless she was teething, but even then she would go back to sleep after getting some ibuprofen. She is 32 months old and for the past week, she has been waking at night and getting out of bed. Sometimes she takes her pullup off and pees in the floor. One night she starting crying for me and when I went in to get her, she was shaking badly and did that for 10 mins. We have been trying to potty train her since May. She does pretty good at daycare but doesn't want to go much at home. I lock her doors at night because she is upstairs and we are downstairs and I don't want her to fall down the stairs or roam around at night. I thought about leaving the door to the bathroom unlocked in case she needs to go to the bathroom to see if that helps?? Anyone else experience this?

  • You have been trying to potty train for 5 months? Sounds like she needs a break. Some kids just arent ready until 3.5, 4, or even later. Why rush it?

No.  That is absolutely ridiculous.  That is what diaper companies want lazy parents to believe.
