Pregnant after a Loss

Anyone NOT have morning sickness?

Hello all! Im 8 weeks 2 days. I had an early ultrasound at 6 weeks and saw the heartbeat and everything which was awesome since my previous pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage. There was one week where i felt really sick but I have never thrown up this whole pregnancy. For the most part ive been feeling great... Just a little naseous here and there, my boobs are a little tender on and off and i just need a lot of sleep or thats when i dont feel that great the next day. So auotmatically this makes me worried that everything is not ok. I think i would feel better if i was puking once in a while! I did have e coli at 6 weeks and they brought me in a few days later and we saw the heartbeat again. So im hoping everything is fine. But im scared! I have another appt next week so we will see. But any moms out there feeling as good as I am and their babies are ok?

  • I felt like a million bucks my entire first tri. It's so hard not to worry, but remember that symptoms don't always mean anything.
It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

  • I had a little nausea last week but since like Wednesday I have been fine. I have even stopped being bloated since Friday. I am worried but, trying not ot let it bother me. My u/s is still a week away so I am hoping to have some symptoms back.

  • I've been feeling pretty good too.  I only feel a little sick if I don't eat often enough or get enough sleep.  My mom said that she wasn't sick when she was pregnant with me either.  Just count yourself lucky and try not to worry :)

  • Thanks for the reassurance ladies! I feel like after next week at my 9 week appt once she tells me everything is ok i should be able to stop worrying that ill have another miscarriage! Im trying my hardest not to worry.... Good luck to all of you as well : )
  • Me! I get a little nausea here and there, but no cookie tossing. FWIW, I was the same with my sons pregnancy. Didn't puke with him till I was pushing and I totes blame the meds I was on for that.

Symptoms don't equal a viable pregnancy. I've got proof of that asleep next to me.

  • I didn't think I would get morning sickness and was worried throughout the first couple weeks that something was wrong. Around the 9 week mark I started having terrible all day sickness that continued till 16 weeks. I am now 25 weeks with a very healthy baby girl :) hope that helps!

  • Lol maybe I should have kept my
Mouth shut! Now I'm probably going to
    Get really sick!
  • Ya I actually wake up in the night during my many pee breaks and feel nauseous!
  • I've only had a little bit of nausea here and there. Nothing compared to DD who had me on the couch until 18.5 weeks! I try to remember that every pregnancy is different, though it's hard not to worry with PgAL brain!

  • Me. I'm in the same boat as you and it's making me crazy! I felt a little bit "off" during week 6, with slight nausea when I would smell certain things. However, I feel as though my food adversions, strong sense of smell and extreme hunger have subsided since then. We saw the baby's great heartbeat last week and can't wait until Wednesday to go again and hopefully have some reassurance. I wish I had some advice, but i'm right there with ya!

  • I had some nausea the last couple of weeks, but today, nothing, it freaks me out, too, but I. Just keep reminding myself of all the different ways symptoms can/don't show themselves, like all the stories here. Good luck at your next appointment.
