Is this annoying or is it just me??

So I was away for the weekend and my DH decided to mount the tv in our bedroom. Nice, right? Not so much.... I had been putting it off for a few reasons. A. I HATE the paint color in our bedroom. B. I really just hate our bedroom. C. I was considering switching our bedroom with the spare bedroom (same size but the spare room has 2 windows) just for a fresh start. 
 
So anyway, DH mounted the TV. And I am like WTF. WHY would he just mount it there!? It isn't centered on the wall and it isn't centered over the dresser sitting there. So now it is randoming sitting next to the closet. Like what the heck was he thinking!?
I was POed when I came home and saw this. I tried my best to keep my hormonal composure but I didn't do a good job. Seriously, now I hate our bedroom even more.

    Lol, it's not just you, I'd be pissed. Seriously? It didn't occur to him to put it over the dresser?

    LOL, this!!!! Seriously, WTH? And then he says we talked about it and this is where I wanted it!! OMG... I could've thrown myself on the bed and cried my eyes out.

    He actually put in an outlet behind the TV where the cords will go through. I'm not sure about moving the dresser over. I could move it over a bit but I feel like the whole room will feel even more lopsided. I don't know.... erggg.

    Oh my, that is the worst!  Seriously, it's not just you, it looks terrible!  And the cords are just begging for little toddler hands to get ahold of them and start yanking away.  Either the TV or the dresser needs to get moved, stat!

    I would have thrown a fit until it was taken down.  

    DH wouldn't do something like this because of how much I care about the decor in the house and around the house, so I rarely have to have a fit like this.

    That is so annoying! I would be upset too.  I would most likely have him move it.  OR I would try and move the dresser over so that it is under the TV.

    This is exactly how I felt. Like I was having a 2-year old fit! I also care way too much about the decor in our house and have been overthinking how I can change our bedroom so I like it better.

    I didn't make him take it down, because honestly he has been SO busy with work and other projects that I can't tell you when the hole in the wall would ever be fixed (at least in the next 2 years). I figured I would rather look at the un-centered TV than a giant hole in the wall or a mudded wall without paint.

    I should just put on my DIY panties and do it myself. But I would need some energy for that.

    Amy, I am sorry . I really feel your pain... but I couldn't help but laugh a little. Seriously. Who in their right mind goes and thinks "Hey, this TV would look great right there"?

    I know!! He sent me this exact picture in a text when I was on my way home. Before I talked to him I went back and forth between literally laughing and then being livid.

    If I ever criticized when DH actually took the initiative to get something done around the house, he'd never do anything again and use that as his excuse.
