A few days ago, we started putting Lydia on the potty because she has grown curious. Since her brother was a very successful early potty-trained child (by 18 months), we figured "Why not?"
So yesterday Lydia starts walking to the bathroom and pauses and her face turns red (we all know what that means). I pick her up, take her diaper off immediately and put her on the potty. She poops, and I stand her up to wipe her butt. She looks in her potty with a very puzzled look like "That just came out of me", and proceeds to grab it! OMG....gross! LOL! While it was disgusting, it was funny.
Ahhhh...the joys of parenting.
Re: Lydia's first time going on the potty (funny)
LOL Ick! But yay for Lydia going potty! I can't believe our babies are old enough for this!
I'm so looking forward to the day that DS is ready for potty training. Any tips for training a boy? I usually have no clue that DS is pooping until he's already done and he runs past me and I smell it.
Awww yay for poop! Love the picture :-)
eesome our LO keeps taking his diaper off....would you suggest possibly potty training?
Yes! Go for it!
