We've got a heartbeat!

Had our 2nd u/s today and we got the hear the heartbeat! Strong 164 bpm. Baby measured 7w4d which is on pace for our EDD of May 18. All around a good day!

    That's great!  We're at a point now where, when the fetus kicks, we can see them protrude on my wife's belly, which is REALLY freaky and cool.

    You will never forget that sound!!  Wait until you actually see the heart while hearing that sound.

    You've hit pregnancy highlight #2.

    #1: The positive test

    #2: The 1st ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat

    #3: Finding out boy/girl

    #4: Feeling the first kick (and really, every kick after too)

    #5: Seeing the baby move in her belly

    #6: Meeting your baby in person!

    2 down, 4 to go!  Congrats again!

    CONGRATS!!!! just wait till you feel the baby kick its one of the coolest things you will ever experience along with the gender scan, those are both two memories that will stay with me forever

    Yeah -- late here, but im new and catching up...  Seeing i'm about 2 months down now i'll probably stop here...  But i wanted to give you a Thumbs Up on the beats!!!  (i think i'll be around here for a bit, and seeing that a few of you are quite regulars, i may as well get the connections going now!! LOL)

     We've had 2 US so far, and even though things are still growing, no HB.  There seems to have been some very gross inaccuracies on the date of conception based on her LMP, so even though, based on her LMP, she'd be around 7 weeks or so, our 2nd US put us at around 5 weeks and 2 days. next US is 10/29
