Layla is 1!! Party PIPs

We had Layla's sock monkey party yesterday, what a busy busy day! It was so much fun, and Layla was great the whole time!

The aftermath:

Opening presents!

Got everything under the sun that makes noise. I'll remember that, Aunts & uncles!

My favorite present, a handmade sock monkey, plus a little sock "moose". She immediately gave it hugs & kisses... then tried to eat the googly eyes, which will be coming off until further notice.

Thanks! It was so much fun, at first.... then I went back to work from 8hrs/week to 20hrs/week and it was not-so-much fun... But I'm glad it turned out well Thank you! The lady that made her the sock monkey is a family friend, she made her a quilt when she was born, she's been an "aunt" to me for as long as I can remember:)

I love all the decorations, and the aftermath picture is wicked funny! I think it's the 2nd to last picture, it looks like she is thinking, "I can't wait to torture Mommy and Daddy with all these noisy toys!"

Her eyes are so blue, too! Such a happy birthday girl :-)

All the candy had brown/red wrappers to match the theme... Tootsie rolls fit the bill... They're not my favorite, and er have leftovers, trick or treaters beware you're getting twizzlers, root beer barrels, tootsie rolls, and caramels hahaha
