Nursing Bra recommendations?

Tried looking thru the threads for some nursing bra recommendations but didn't see anything.

Anyone have a bra or brand they loved?

Re: Nursing Bra recommendations?

  • I've bought a few, including cheapos at Target, I highly recommend spending the $ and getting the Bravado seamless bra. It's extremely comfortable and high quality.

  • I second Bravado. This is my second nursing experience with them and even though they're a bit pricey, they're worth it! They have a sale section, not all sizes are available, but that's how I saved some money. I probably have 4 to 5 bras and 2 tanks from them.

  • FTM here but I picked up 4 medela bras from BRU.  Two for night time, and two others that unhook at the top.  I'm a 32C pre pregnancy, 34-36C now so I like that they seem to be able to accomodate both band sizes.

  • Ive always been a fan of Victorias Secret bras, so that's mostly what I own. If you have V.S bras, You can take them to Macy's and for 10 they will turn them into nursing bras.

  • Definitely Bravado- they've gotten me through years of nursing and even if you buy a few of them it is still waaaay cheaper than formula. Worth every penny!

  • I have a TERRIBLE time finding bras and I like a lot of suport.  I went to Target and was completely frustrated.  I went to the Nursing Mother's Center at the birthing center and tried on probably 30 different bras (La Leche League, Bravado, Medela, etc...).  Nothing worked.  But this weekend, I went to Motherhood and found a racerback that works for me.  I still need a sleep bra, but I was so relieved/surprised to find a bra that will work.  I only bought 1 becuase I know my size can/will change after my milk comes in.  All of the sleep bras that I've tried offer NO support.  I need a little bit even at night.  I've been sleeping in a sports bra since I got pregnant because they are so big and cumbersome.
