ohhhhh boy. . .i mean girl. . .

Well, much to our surprise at our anatomy ultrasound we found out that our little baby (which we had been told was a boy three times) is a girl. We're definitely not upset by this fact, just a little shocked. But all is good and well, she seems perfectly healthy which is exactly what we were really hoping for. (:

Now here inlays our dilemma, sense the doctors kept telling us she was a boy we didnt even think of girls names or anything so now im so stuck trying to find one.So here I am again asking all of you guys for some help, does anyone have any ideas for some kinda edgy/unique baby names?

We dont want anything with off the wall spelling, just something thats pretty but not super girly. We already have a middle name picked out, we're just so stuck on first names. We've gone through fifteen websites of all names, they're just a massacre of spelling or sound old.lol

any ideas you guys have would be an awesome help. thanks. (:

Same thing for us! We were told boy at 17w and then girl at 20. We had our boy names narrowed down but no clue on girls names! Here's our long list:

I have Hyperemesis and travel all of the time for work so they are keeping a closer eye on our little one to make sure everything is developing right and shes growing like shes supposed to because of how sick and how busy we are. I have had a few more ultrasounds than you would during a normal pregnancy and ever since those little parts were supposed to be developed they kept saying it definately wasnt a girl, and low and behold here we are.

Congrats! We were naming the baby Dylan/Dylen either way (tribute to mu maiden name). If girl, she would have had an extremely feminine middle name. I liked Emma, too. GL!!

The middle name we decided on is the two of our middle names put together. My SO's is Tyler and mine is Renee, so we got Tyren, I think its adorable.

Our middle and last name's are both T names so i've found that there isnt much that doesnt fit with the two of them, im just super picky. so far i have

Hubby and I had a boys name all picked out then found out we are team pink! We had zero girls names picked out...i know, crazy tunnel vision on that one.

I basically checked out the name board and other posts where people suggested names. I googled a whole bunch and wrote down anything I would consider. We now have a short list 6. Good luck!

what a fun problem to have- with plenty of time left to sift through girl names! names that aren't overly girly or old fashioned... what about Laine/Lane, Leah, Layla, Joelle, Hope, Olive, Jenna, Jade, Jamie, Jill, Noelle, Anya, Halle, Aria, Tara, Gemma, Andra, Mara, or Skye? obviously i would be happy to name a whole fleet of girls...
