MN for Jamie (boy)

DH and I are having a really hard time agreeing on boy names.  On my list are Luca, Colin, Desmond, and Arthur.  His current favourites are Jude and Simon.

One name we both like is Jamie (DH is a big fan of singer Jamie Cullum).  I don't think we would use James; Jamie would be the given name.  Any suggestions of MNs for Jamie?  LN is 2 syllables.

    I love Arthur as a MN, even though it's on your first name list.  It's classic and underused, and it flows well with Jamie.

    I actually thought that after I typed out my list!  It's a family name on DH's side, and I have it on my MN list as well.  My only concern is that all three names would be two syllables with the emphasis on the first syllable.  Sound weird?

    I like Jamie Arthur as well! Jamie Alexander also comes to mind.

    I think it depends more on the sound of your last name than the number of syllables or the emphasis.   KWIM?

    I think it depends more on the sound of your last name than the number of syllables or the emphasis.   KWIM?

    Yeah, and the sound isn't bad together.  Come to think of it, DH's little brother's MN is Arthur and his first name is Daniel--so the same "issue" there.  Thanks for the help!
