Breast Pump recommendations

With my son I pumped once a day in order to allow DH to help with night feedings, and me to have a bit in reserve to allow mama time.  I used a manual pump and it was time consuming.  I would like to get a single electric this time around.

I just don't know what to get there is a huge range of price points, I have seen some under $100, (evenflo, medela mini electric), some around $ 150 (advent, and phillips), and the medela swing for over $200.  Does any one have a recommendation for a single electric pump for once a day use?  If you don't have personal experience but have seen anything raved about in consumer reports or baby bargains, any input would be much appreciated.

  • I used the Medela Swing at least once per day and I thought it worked great and was really easy to use.  I loved that it could be used on battery power so that when we were on a road trip I could pump anywhere!  I got it on a crazy deal thought when it was mispriced on the BRU website for $48 so I didn't even bother to do any research! I just had to grab the deal and run.  Luckily I did because a few minutes later it was removed from the website and then came back later on sale for $148!
