That's cute! The planning is going ok. I'm doing theme colors to make it easier to coordinate the plates, napkins and such. A little table topper, some themed fabric for the table cloth and we're making the cake decorations. Here is what the invitation looks like:
And here is the table topper that I have:
The pic isn't that good, but it's all solid wood, with wonderful detail.
I'm trying to keep it simple. My plans were foiled when I wasn't told about another family function going on the same day so most of DH's extended family won't be there. Stoopid MIL keeping us in dark on family functions...

Those are cute! Love the ticket style. Planning is good. We ordered DS's invites off etsy and got them printed out today. Going to hand them out this weekend. I still have quite a bit to do for his party finish the felt board, make/order the favor bags, finalize the menu, make the picture banner, and get all the paper goods for food. I also need to make or order a flag banner for his 1st birthday cake smash photo shoot.
We are doing a rapunzel/tangled theme so I hand made the invitations:
And made this banner that is seen in the movie (sorry for the terrible pic, but I just noticed the website I am looking at in the pic is the bump lol):

That's super cute! I am just about done planning. Now just gotta execute! Not looking forward to the prep work and everything the day before and day of. Oh well. Next time I'm ordering pizza's though
Plus, I still need to figure out food(after all the talk about not doing the "normal" party food, I'm thinking about just ordering some pizzas & having cake & ice cream. LOL)

Love everyone's themes!
I have ordered all of our decorations & invitations. We're doing a football/Lil Quarterback theme(https://www.birthdayexpress.com/Lil-Quarterback-1st-Birthday-Party-Supplies/58027/PartyKitDetail.aspx). I need to order DS's birthday shirt from Etsy or buy something else for him to wear.
Plus, I still need to figure out food(after all the talk about not doing the "normal" party food, I'm thinking about just ordering some pizzas & having cake & ice cream. LOL)
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
