Walmart Baby Clothes

I know adult clothing at Walmart runs large but holy cow! The newborn baby clothes look like they would fit a 6 month old! Has anyone else noticed this?

I have bought a couple of shirts and shorts from the garanimals line and they seem to fit right on track. I did notice they fade very quickly though.

When my nephew was born, he was smaller than expected so my brother had to do a mad dash to Walmart to get some newborn size clothes. We always laugh about the "newborn" pants he bought. They were longer than my nephew's entire body!

The Walmart brand never fit my son. The clothes seems short and wide- not what my skinny baby needed.

Yup, we definitely noticed this. My son is in entirely 3-6m clothes except for a few shirts he has from Walmart. They're 0-3 and look like they'll fit for a while.

I guess it depends on which line, I find they run small or just on, compared to TCP, Gap and ON. Dd4 runs size 2/3 for pants and 3x/4 for shirts, but I find the toddler size pants to be skinny, jeans from there are a no go. The infant stuff was roomy. The width difference can be pretty big. For the price, I'd rather get TCP on sale and it's on sale right now.

Eta: in store and online 30% off code includes sale items FRIEND12E. I like the clothes better, on sale can run cheaper than Walmart? Especially the Disney stuff, which is huge, I just remembered that dd has some capris that are 24, that are way too big.

WelcOme! Heading there myself, birthday clothes. Can't believe my baby will be two, I miss the baby stuff!

I too find that Walmart stuff runs short and wide, so we don't get a ton of stuff there - DD is long and skinny. We do have some really nice leggings from there tho. I like their regular baby clothes, as in, not the sleepers. Some of the onesies and shirts are really cute, and DD gets compliments on them every time she wears them.
