Hi, I will be moving to Tucson really soon on the 1st of October. I am due the 25th of November and really need some suggestions on OB's around that area and the hospitals as well. I would like a doctor who would actually listen to me and what my wants are as far as delivery. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you!

Re: Moving to around Davis Monthan... need new OB!
I'm in Tucson for another few weeks
Will you live on DM? DM has a clinic only, no ER or OB stuff. We have four major hospitals you can deliver at in metro Tucson, but it will depend on where you'll be living. Most doctors only deliver at one or two hospitals since we're pretty spread out so finding a doc will depend on what hospital.
TMC is the closest to DM and has a great Women's center or there is a birthing center right across the street. This is more east/central located. Copperstate OBGYN works exclusively there and I've heard great things about them. My mom uses them. All the midwives at The Birthing Center are amazing, friends with many of them, if you're looking for a non-hospital birth.
If you are in the north or northwest, Northwest Medical Center is where you'd deliver and they're great too. I was planning on delivering there with Dr. Schneider and Dr. Montemayor.
If you are east, there is St. Joes, but it's an older, Catholic-run hospital. If you are central or south, then it would be UMC and it's also older (they're renovating now) and a teaching hospital for the University of Arizona. Wouldn't recommend unless you don't mind all the students being invited in to watch.
If you want any specific recs, I'll check back in a bit
