have a day for celebrating the little things that made us happy through the week? We have a day to complain, to whine, and to be opinionated. How about a day to be grateful? Just a thought.
i love getting up with my LO in the night. I love those quiet moments rocking her in the dark, knowing all too soon it will be over. I am so grateful I get to experience that.

i love waking up in the middle of the night /early morning and see/feel dd cuddled up against me. I love how sweet ds is with his baby (dd).

This week the baby and I have started something new. I will nurse him for his early morning nap, and snuggle his on the couch while I read a book. As long as he's in my arms, he will sleep for 2-3 hours, so I generally read a bit and then fall asleep snuggling him. It's becoming my favorite time if the day!

We do this too, and I love it, except the longest nap I can ever get out of my kid is an hour.
I love reading to him. The past couple weeks he has started turning the pages of his board books while we read. I love watching his little brain figure out the way things work, and I am a huge reader so it gives me warm fuzzies to see how much he enjoys books as well.
I'm going to have to try this couch nap of which you speak. Right now DS's longest naps are 45 minutes tops, unless we are in the car...but even then it's a mixed bag.
I have two "I love" things right now. First, he has the softest, sweetest little neck, and I love to nuzzle him.
Second, I love that DS "reads" with me when we do stories before nap. DH says it sounds like there's a baby hoot owl in the nursery b/c DS is just "hoooo"ing up a storm while I read to him. He stops when the book closes. It's the funniest, sweetest thing!
I am grateful for my in-laws and parents! I know lots of people don't get along with theirs but I love them and am so glad that both sets of parents live within 25 mins. and get to see their granddaughter on a regular basis!
Re: I think it would be nice to...
I'll start here -

Very cute idea! Which day should we do it on? Sundays? We should think of a name...
I love how happy DD is in the morning, and how excited she gets when we come into the room to get her after her naps.
I also love how much she enjoys being read to before bed and watching people cook
