Bug has a bad cold...

He's miserable and crabby and tired...he woke up twice last night, and got up for good at 6am. He hates having his nose wiped (even if he has snot running down his face). I try to put the Little Noses spray in his nose, but he freaks out. I have been rubbing his chest down with Baby Vicks...Is there anything else I can do? I tried getting him to sit with me, but he's really crabby and just wants to stand there and cry... Sad

    Lots of liquids, cuddles, tylenol if he has a fever, Nosefrida he'll hate it but it works, a humidifier, elevated matress... In the end, you pretty much have to wait it out. Hope he feels better soon!

    Everything pp said and a warm bath. I've given C multiple baths when she was sick. It kept her happy and helped clear her up a bit.


    This! Johnson and Johnson make a Soothing Vapor Bath soap that really helps clear out DSs nose! We have used it since he was a baby and it's always really helped him! I hope your little one feels better soon!!

    You can also try something from Hylands... I have their cold/cough stuff right now-I have to put it in a small amount of strawberry milk because she says it's 'yucky'-but it works very well.
