I'm looking for a carrier that will work well for nursing a newborn, but I don't want a Moby. Might consider the K'tan, though. Looking at the Ergo. Recommendations? TIA!
I just bought the k'tan yesterday and plan on using it for the first time today! I guess that not really advice But Iv heard good thing about the k'tan. You could always go to BBB and try them on. They have a bunch of carriers and they let me try some on to see what I liked, and told me I could return it in two weeks if I didn't like it.
I haven't figured out yet how to nurse in my Moby or Ergo. I like them both for different functions - the Moby for wearing around the house and out to dinner/social events; and the Ergo for long walks and hikes. The Moby lets you snuggle with your LO, but the Ergo seems sturdier for walking. I think the Ergo may be easier for nursing when the LOs are older - I don't know how you'd do it with the infant insert.
Why don't you want a moby?? Just curios because I love mine!! It is very easy to use and I even nurse DS in it. It is seriously the inly way i can get anything done. Either way hope you find one that works for you!!
I love my moby but it is kind of a pain to figure out. I'd go wit the Ergo Sport. It is lighter and cooler. (The red one I linked you to is pretty cheap right now, 25% off) And you can get the newborn insert.
