How long is a toy contaminated after a kid with Hand Foot Mouth disease plays with it? Is it contaminated until someone washes it? Until a week passes?

I'm asking because a kid a church has it and played with all the toys in nursery last Sunday. So, should I NOT let my kids play with the toys until someone washes them or will the contagions be gone/dead by then?

    Don't they clean them every week as standard practice?  I would want them clean just to be on the safe side and the clean side.

    I actually don't know! I never thought about it. I'll ask for sure!
