For all you working Moms, what hours do you work? (didn't want to have to weed through all the times listed in the post below)

I'm starting to really feel chained to my desk b/c I am here from 7:15am - 5:00pm. Sad

I would feel the same way. I work 9-5 and that seems much longer than a lot of the moms in that post!

I haven't read through all the posts, but I may win for longest hours. Depending on the day of the week, my hours are either 7-5 or 8-6. I usually have an evening event at least once every other week as well, so factor in an extra 3 hours every other week. I'm drained by Friday!

I work 8:30-4:30 with the agreement that I don't leave for lunch so that I can come in 1/2 an hour later and leave 1/2 an hour earlier than everyone else in the office.

Those hours started when we moved to a somewhat sketchy part of town and I didn't like walking to the train after dark in the winter. They happen to work out really well with DD's daycare drop off and pick up, too.

830/9 until anywhere between 230 and 430. Very rarely I have something in the evening. My commute is 15ish minutes from Es school which is on the way to work and about an hour maybe a little more coming home including picking the kids up. I totally lucked out, when E was a baby I had an hour long commute and my parents usually would pick E up and drop him off otherwise it would have been double and I worked 8 to 5. When I worked FT I had a 20 to 30 min commute, didnt have to drop off or pick up E and worked 8 to 5. Everyone I know who doesn't work govt or retail works 8 to 530.

I usually work from about 9:15-4:30 but I really should be here from at least 8:30-4:30. I do some of my work at home in the early mornings or after dinner and on weekends. There are often days when I am doing work related things at night from 6:00-9:00, especially when there is drama going on or something big that needs to get done. Given my field, I do have some flexibility.

I have to be at school from 7:304:20 MondayWednesday. On Thursdays we can leave as soon as school is out at 4. We have Fridays off.

I work T, W,Th 8-3 in the office and then check in once I get home. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

I'm a teacher, so my hours are 7:30 to 3:00. Great hours, but I often bring a lot of work home.

I am at work from 7:10 to 2:02 because I teach. But I usually stay a little late or have meetings. I also take home a lot of work to grade after DD goes to bed and on the weekends.

Usually about 9am - 5:30 pm. Fortunately, I have very flexible scheduling, so sometimes its different.

My schedule alternates but I work 9am-9pm 2 to 3 days during the week. I work every other weekend and my hours are 9am-6pm on Saturday and 9am-1pm on Sunday.

Fulltime for my position is 3040 hours/week. I usually work 8:152:45, but will work as late as 4:45 if needed.

Typically 830am - 7pm-ish Monday - Thursday. Then once I get home I generally have more work to do....some late nights other times only an hour.

Fridays are usually easier....8am - 3pm-ish.

Pre-baby I went in earlier and often worked through dinner. I wasn't sure how I was going to make it work after baby, but I'm lucky my husband works for his family's company so he has more flexibility.

I work part-time but here are my hours:

Monday 5-10AM

Wed and Thurs 5-9AM

Sundays 5am-noon.

I don't really consider myself a working mom, mainly because I only work Fridays and Saturdays for about 4 hours each day... but I guess it counts as working?

M - F 8 to 5 with an hour lunch. Very occasionally have to stay until 7 or 8 to fill in for vacations. I would prefer longer hours on fewer days per week.

I work PT, and go to grad school FT.

I have class M-F from 9:30-11, and go longer on Thursdays for a lab, plus 2 online classes with about 4 times as much work as my 2 on campus classes.

I work 12-5 MTWF, and 8-11Sat (sometimes)

I'm retail so my schedule varies. I can work anywhere for 5 am to 12 am. I work 9 hour shifts usually. I have one day off during the week, usually a Tuesday or Wednesday, and I work every other weekend. I close one night a week and every other weekend I work I close both nights.

I work 730 to 5 Mon thru Fri. Normal hours at my company are 730 to 530, but I take a short lunch so I can leave early.

I have the afternoon shift in my hotel. 3-11. It's working perfectly. I get LO all morning and early afternoon. It's nice.

I work 8 till 3:30. I usually pick B up around 4, he goes to bed at 7, it is hard to think I only see him 3 hours a day now.

I work 7am to 315pm, and my commute is an hour. I also work as a Disney travel agent on the side and do most of that work in the evening once DD is in bed.

I work 7:45am-5pm on the days that DH works. On his days off I work 6:15am-5pm to make up hours so that I can have one day off every pay period. This schedule also usually allows me to have on early (4-4:30) day as well.
