DD2 is still in her crib at 27 months. She's been telling me to buy a new crib when the baby comes because she doesn't want to give hers up. She'll be 2y8m.

Yup, she is 28 months and will be in a crib until at least the end of August when her cousin goes to college and she moves into that room. She is happy in there. I may even keep her in the crib after that or at least convert it to a toddler bed at that time.

DS turns 3 in January and he's still in his crib. He loves his crib so we've never had a real reason to make the switch. We've talked about maybe doing it soon. Sometime between now and his birthday we will. He sleeps in a twin bed at my mom's when we visit her so I don't think the transition will be that big of a deal for him.
DD1 is 2y 8m and still in a crib. I plan to keep her in her crib until she starts trying to climb out of it. I foresee the transition to a toddler bed being kind of rough, so I'm in no hurry.

Ds turned 3 in June, and it was the end of August when he moved to the toddler bed. When we first tried, he would cry for hours, so after a few days of that, we put the crib rail up. Then, one night when my mom watched him at her house, he slept all night in a twin bed without a problem. That was when we decided to try again, and he took right to it.

My son is 26 months and I would still have him in a crib if he wouldn't have jumped out of his a few months ago! He happily sleeps in his toddler bed now. I say don't move him until you need too.
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
DS was 2 1/2 when we switched. And really he was content in his crib until he got a taste of a "big boy bed" at my parents' in July. My niece was 3 in August and is still in a crib. If your LO fits and isn't trying to get out, keep him in there!
DD turns 3 in February and she's still in a crib. I've slowly started pricing out mattresses and stuff for a full when we do switch, and I got her comforter already and some sheets, but we're not switching yet. She doesn't complain about her bed and she :: knock on wood:: hasn't tried to escape yet. So, for now I'll follow "if its not broke, don't fix it".
DS is 27 months and still in his crib. Although he is fully potty trained, I'm hesitant to make the switch because he HATES taking naps. I'm afraid if I put him in a bed he'll never nap. So when he is ready to give up naps, probably around age 3, we'll make the switch. Unless he really wants a big boy bed then we'll get him one.
DS will be 4 in January still in a crib. He knows how to get out safely He doesn't get out of it though. To him it's not a big deal. I'd rather keep him in there.
My DD just turned 2, but I have no plans of moving her any time soon. My DH works nights, and I have no intention of making bedtime any harder than it needs to be.
