I found out at 16 weeks because I just "had" to know. I found a place to do an elective one for $55 & figured it was completely worth it. Otherwise, my A/S is week 21 for me!

I dont find out until next thursday and I'm dying over here. We have an ide of what we are having bc the doc says he thinks he was right, but he even admitted that his machine is not that great for checking gender, but good for other things.

We couldn't wait...so we did an elective 3D at 17wks. Our appointment wouldn't be until almost 22wks! The 3D was amazing and so much fun, I would suggest it to anyone...totally worth paying for Smile

I don't find out for another MONTH! November 13th. It's killing me! I might have to do an early elective. I'm terrible with surprises, I was always the little kid that peaked at birthday and Christmas presents!

We find out in 8 days... might as well be 8 weeks! I am anxious to start buying and picking "the name"! Any 2nd time mommies have any good ideas to make baby move around for an A/S so we can see it?

Halloween is our big day! I guess just think of when there was no way to find out, even if you wanted to! It's so hard to wait though, I feel like I bonded with my son so much more when I found out the gender and had a name.

THIS! I'm the worst at surprises. My husband had to propose to me on a Monday so that I wouldn't have a clue. He is way more patient than me. I've been begging him to have an elective ultrasound (his uncle is an obgyn and has offered many times!). He wants us to wait until our appointment at 20 weeks. 8 more long days!!!

I just finished posting this on the 2nd Tri board, but our baby didn't co-operate this afternoon either (for measurements OR for sex)... so we have to wait for a second A/S scan 11 days from now. Argh!

However, DH *swears* he heard the tech mumble something about it looking like a girl but that she really wasn't sure, so wasn't going to actually say so. I didn't hear the "girl" part and have since questioned DH a dozen times about it because I don't believe him!

I so badly want to be "right" about my intuition (girl) - not to mention we'd be able to use the girl's name we've already decided on - that 11 days is a long time to wait to find out! But if for no other reason, it'll be so nice to stop referring to the baby as "it".

Wow...I thought I was the only one on this board who was still anxiously waiting for their A/S scan. Ours isn't until Nov. 5th......and it seems to be LONGER than closer to arriving for us.

My "big" ultrasound isn't until November 9th. The only reason I know the gender is because the MaterniT21 test picked up Y chromosomes and the genetic counselor provided that information while discussing down syndrome with us when I was around 13 maybe 14 weeks.

While everyone is excited to find out the gender at this ultrasound, I'm anxious to find out if we're going to be dealing with heart defects or not since babies with DS have a 50% chance of having a heart defect. (fortunately, not all of the heart defects are serious or life threatening)

I can't wait either! Just one more week for us, next Friday. I'm hoping we can get a good shot! Luckily my check up will be the next Wednesday so I guess we wouldn't have to wait too much longer to find out.

I get this excited every time we get to see LO though. I want to see that everything is growing right and that everything looks healthy.

October 30th here, too! And I am growing more & more anxious by the day. I could have found out October 2nd, but Dh wasn't with me as it was an unexpected u/s and we were trying to go team green, so I said no. Team green!? Chea right, who was I kiddin'!? LOL

12 days? no kidding, I don't even have sched yet. hehe. Im in my 17 wks now, Ive heared from my last appointment theyl sched it when iM in my 20 wks. SO hopefully thel give me sched by next wk 3rd check up. Im guessing i have to wait another 3 weeks.. I really can;t wait!!! hoping for girl

Mine isn't until November 1. I feel like this pregnancy is going pretty quickly and I can't believe that we'll find out in less than two weeks. I'm hoping they don't start to drag!
