I was feeding my son in the glider in his room this morning and I realized how much I LOVE this little pillow that I bought mainly as decor for his room but that has turned out to be so useful (it's perfect for propping up my arm to hold him while feeding him). I think I spent $40 on this pillow to have it personalized with a print of a Lab and our dog's name and a cute saying about our dog. I knew at the time it was a splurge on what I thought would be something that we just look at it and who knew it would get such great use!
Anyway, got me wondering what others might have splurged on that some might call frivolous? And, was it truly frivilous but you love it anyway, or does it actually have a good use?
Re: Favorite Frivolous Baby Item Purchase
We haven't started the nursery yet, but there are a few things that I want that I know they are frivolous, I want something from Jonathon Adler, something like this bank or something purely decorative like these bookend:
I also like to have one of these in the nursery, this one is purely frivolous:

I bought one of these, too! I have the owl for the large storage bin. I also got a storage caddy with the beaver on it and I just love it. https://www.amazon.com/3-Sprouts-Storage-Caddy-Orange/dp/B006Y7OYQO/ref=br_it_dp_o_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=JCDOXNR4QM15&coliid=I3XLPASUDOG7S They were expensive, but they look so cute in the nursery.
I love those bookends, where are they from?
