Good Evening Ladies. I hope this next week and month as we head into fall is like turning over a new leaf for us all.
Please forgive me if I miss anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.

3 break cycles; took clomid 50mg, BFP #2 Beta #1 35, Beta #2 338!!! Owen was born 2/11/11!
TTC#2: 4 cycles on clomid: BFNs

I'm currently 5dpo, and sent in my referral paperwork yesterday to the RE that my OB has referred me too. Should hear back from them in the next few days as to when I will have my first appointment. I'm very nervous and anxious for this journey ahead.
As far as a happy story......we just celebrated 12 years this past weekend since my father survived a massive brain aneurysm. When he suffered this aneurysm the doctors didn't think he would survive, so it's a miracle he is still here with us. I was 20 years old when this happened, and I can remember being so scared that he would never walk me down the aisle or hold his future grandchildren. I feel so blessed to say that he has gotten to walk 2 daughters down the aisle and hold 3 beautiful grandchildren......I'm hoping to make it 4 before long

1st RE Appt 11/28/12 DX with PCOS, HSG and SA=Normal
Feb 2013-June 2013, 3 TI cycles and 2 IUI cyles with Letrozole, Ovidrel, and Dexamethasone=BFN!!!
July 2013-August 2013....taking a break and praying for a miracle
Fall 2013...will attempt IUI #3 and then seek 2nd opinion if it's a bust too
Just waiting to test!

QOTW : this weekend is 7 years ago for DH and I first date.
Update: I'm 4dpIUI so I'm trying to not over-analyze every little thing during my 2ww. Still not sure why they tested my P4 yesterday morning but they were happy with the results (18.7). I go back in for my beta on 10/29.
QOTW: My happy story is that it's Friday! Lame, I know, but I can't think of one right now!

My happy story is more of a funny one my 2.5 yo son calls deodorant "benonerant" and it's pretty hilarious.
BFP 1/21/13, blighted ovum m/c 2/12/13
In the 2WW. No real plans to test. I've been in a bit of a funk this week. TTC seems like a chore and it's been close to 2 years without success. Our timing was decent, but DH and I have been arguing some, so the sex wasn't that fun. Every cycle seems to bring anticipation, angst, and then disappointment. And I just don't expect any miracle BFPs any time soon.
And while I really love my friends and the girls on my birth month board, I feel like I've been super sensitive to the eleventy billion second pregnancy posts or BFPs on there. I loved that board b/c we talked about our kids the same age. Instead it feels like everyone else is in a new stage of life except me. There's nothing for me to contribute there since all the posts revolve around newer pregnancies. And It makes me want to just scream when one of them complains about pregnancy related things. I'd give anything to trade places and would gladly do it without griping. So I've taken a bit of a break from that board just so I can get into a better mindset. I'm better today than I was earlier in the week, so that's good. Really, only you girls can relate to how I feel and I would like get closer with you all sinec unfortunately, we're all in the same boat together.
Looking forward to the new year when we return to the RE.
A happy story? I did the pinterest project project of putting glow sticks in my son's bath and shining a blacklight on the bath. This is a kid who hates baths/showers-- and he loved it so much that he stayed in the bath for an hour and a half! Here's a pic (pretty sure it's decent and modest)...
And when he got out, he slid down my leg and said, "fireman's pole, Mommy!" I love this little boy of mine!

Update: I am 12 dpo and watching my temps drop a little each day, so I have no real hope for a BFP this cycle. I tested yesterday (why I have no idea) and got a BFN. I have symptoms but they are the same as AF so I am pretty bummed. We only have 2-3 cycles left until we call it and decide to move on as a family of 3. Part of me is happy to know there is an end in sight either way.
QOTW: DH usually makes dinner but he had to work late so I made something for me and DS. As DS was eating he put his hand on my arm and told me I made a yummy dinner. What a sweetie pie!
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

Update: Anxiously awaiting our u/s on Tuesday to see how many are in there and if they have heartbeats. I'm definitely feeling pregnant (have all day sickness, which I didn't have with DD at all). I'm just trying to figure out the tricks to morning sickness. I'll post after our u/s.
QOTW: We had an awful wind storm this week and our 65 lbs lab crawled into DDs bed to sleep with her. It woke DD up and she told me that she pet the dog all night to calm her down...so cute!

So far this cycle is a bust, started my usual pre AF symptoms at 5dpo which is normal for me. New cycle starts next week my RE is recommending adding progesterone suppositories for the next clomid cycle. Fingers crossed this helps!
QOTW: it's been a really long busy week nothing positive to share at the moment.
I am waiting to O. Will start OPK's today. I stopped metformin and started Pregnitude this week per RE's order. Next month we will move on to injectibles.
QOTW: We have DD's fall photo shoot at a pumpkin patch tomorrow. I am really looking forward to watching her have fun. We will then head to a festival downtown after DD's nap. Should be a fun day to take our minds off IF.

My update. I met with a new RE last week who thinks that I should go the IUI route with injectibles instead of jumping right back into ivf. I'm just waiting for CD1 which should be any day now so I can go in for bloodwork and I am also having a saline sonogram.
Update: DH had his PESA, sperm aspiration procedure, this morning and they found and froze swimmers, yay!!! I thought DH would be sedated but they only gave him xanax, pain medication, and numbed him, poor guy
He is resting and is very happy it is over. I start Lupron tomorrow morning and then only one more week of BCP, which I am glad about since it makes me feel sick. I will be excited to order, though not excited to pay for, my stims next week, I start them November 3.
QOTW: The day I found out I was having the twins was one of the happiest in my life. I was spotting the day of my first ultrasound and thought for sure I was having a miscarriage, instead they saw two babies and two heartbeats, extreme lows and then highs that day. I have never seen DH so excited!!!
Update: Had my very first IUI today. I triggered with an 18mm and a 19mm follicle. DH had 61 million and 76% motility. I'm feeling very hopeful. My beta is Nov 2. My birthday is Nov 3. This birthday is either going to be really awesome or totally suck.
QOTW: My bff who is a NICU nurse just passed her RNC exam. I'm thinking I need to take her out to celebrate. I'm thinking no kids and some fondue!
I hope you start to find some relief soon. With my first pregnancy I used to keep a sleeve of saltines on my nightstand; as soon as my alarm clock went off I'd put one in my mouth. By the time I got out of bed I had eaten enough of them to feel like I could make it through getting ready for the day.
9dpiui. Usually I have POAS at this point...but I didnt and I'm probably not going to do it this weekend. I only have 2 digitals in my house, so maybe I'll give it a try on Monday. Not feeling hopeful, but not feeling sorry for myself as I usually do.
I decided to take my hobby with photography to the next level a little under a year ago and it has been a slow going little business, but I am happy to say that I have a ton of business for the next couple of months. Most of them are newborn sessions, which you would think would be sad, but newborn and maternity is what I would like to eventually market towards, so it actually makes me very happy!! Yay!

QOTW: Of course my two happiest stories are my DH and DD but right now I am so excited about the fact that we are going to remodel our kitchen (a little stressed too). It was an unexpected problem and expense but I can't wait to have a brand new kitchen!!!

Baby 3 Finished clomid last week. DH is coming home from business tonight so we shall be getting it on... I O late I think we missed last cycle cause we breaked too early. So waiting and more waiting... and waiting for 2 to be born too... all I do is wait!

Update: Tonight is day 8 of "absorb the cyst" and my last night taking the birth control. I go in Monday morning for an u/s check. Hopefully its gone and we get the go ahead to start meds.
