Insert your rock star credibility here.
There has been a lot of "tell me I'm not a bad mom" posts this week. We all feel like crappy moms sometimes. Instead of complaining, I'm trying to focus on my positives. Here is mine:
I'm a rock star because I've taken a shower every day since DD was born. This is a HUGE feat since I have two other young kids too. I feel sooooo much better after a shower though so it's worth it to be a priority.
Re: I'm a rock star because...
I'm a rock star because:
I simultaneously wore DS, fed him, and vacuumed the house. I'm getting my mommy sea legs, finally! lol
Ah AW'ing ourselves. I love it!
I'm a rockstar because I finally figured out H's "reset" button and I've been able to complete her nursery projects complete with sewing, hanging, cleaning etc! So accomplished this week.
Oh and I'm more at peace with a happy baby.

I got my 5 8 year olds off to school early enough to walk so I could push the stroller and enjoy the scenery. They left the house with full tummies not a rushed breakfast like a pop tart not today anyway and when they got home we had homework done, baths and dinner all done by the time DH got home.
Also, I've learned the baby well enough that when DH comes home and spends time with him, I can tell him exactly what's wrong with the baby and what he needs so he will calm down just long enough for DH to keep him a little longer while I insert whatever...use the bathroom, shower, etc. DH looks at me in amazement when he can't calm the baby down and I can get him to calm down immediately either by taking him myself or just telling DH what he needs at that moment. It's a great feeling if accomplishment.
... because I ate breakfast today!
I have a lot of trouble with this because there's so much to do in the mornings, especially school-day mornings (Tuesday, Thursday). But I'm diabetic so it's extra bad for me to not eat for so long. I'm trying to eat every morning and today I actually did!
I NIP today!!!! I know this is a regular occurrence for some of y'all but it was my first time. I had dinner with some friends, I fed him right before I left and thought he'd be fine so I wore a regular bra and tank. But halfway through dinner he got hungry and so I bit the bullet. Luckily I never leave home without my cover and nipple shield.
I also scheduled appt with LC for some help weaning from nipple shield. First i called insurance to see how much it would be since I hadn't received a bill from my last appt and i found out LC services are covered 100%! I wish i had realized that sooner.

I am a rockstar because DH has come home every night to a spotless house, clean laundry, and a happy baby. Now to throw in a home cooked meal every night...
Also, I've showered, put on makeup and done my hair every day since we've been home, even if I'm not going anywhere. I feel a million times better when I'm put together.
2.0 is on the way! EDD: 2/24/15
I like this post! We are all awesome.
I'm a rockstar because:
I NIP yesterday during lunch with DH.
I've kept the house clean since I've been home (I was much lazier with DS1)
I bathed DS2 by myself yesterday

DS slept for 5 hours straight last night!
He took a bottle for the second time- we were at a baby shower and I didn't want to nurse there so I had pumped and hoped that he would take the bottle and he sucked it down like a champ!
I've showered everyday since we were home! It's my moment of sanity! Yesterday I did it while DH was home and purposely took an extra long time so that he could watch him!!
I made my goal of EPing for 4 weeks. Next goal is 6 weeks and I think if I can get past this weekend (DH is out of town for work) I can make it!
Also, I have showered almost every day AND we got out of the house every day this week.
Pretty good! I may have eaten some for breakfast today.
