Have you tasted breastmilk?

Okay so I am having a 'Friends' marathon and I came across the episode with the breastmilk and Pheobe and Joey tasted it and Ross freaked out.

I have to admit-I havent tasted it-but I am curious to know what LO is tasting.

Has anyone else tried it? I know it a wierd question but I was wondering.

    Yep I have! I was curious too. It tastes like sweet watery milk. Not too bad!

    I hope I'm not the only one to admit it...

    Yeah I lean more toward what Rachel said in the episode-"that is juice squeezed from a person!" But I couldnt help but ask. Im sure some it doesnt bother.

    My DH told me that his best friend tried breast milk when his wife had their first son about 9 years ago. Apparently, DH and he were drinking one night and his friend drank some that was in the fridge because he wanted try it and he immediately spit out and and said it was disgusting. Men.

    Ive tried it. It's sweet tasting kinda watered down too. My hubby tried it right from the tap lol! Only cause he lost a bet though

    I did lol. My nose is super stuffy and I wanted to make sure it was ok. I think it was a few days old.

    It does taste like sweet watery milk. Like drinking the leftover milk after cereal.

    Whenever I test the temperature of the milk on my wrist I lick it off because I'm too lazy to get a paper towel. It just tastes like really sweet watery milk, as others have said.

    Yup I've tasted it. Like pp's have said, it tastes like sweet watery milk. MH tasted it once also, lol.

    I haven't tried it, but it sure is sticky!!

    The thing that's strange to me is that formula smells nothing like BM tastes. I'm really surprised that some babies will go back and forth between BM and formula

    lol.  the other day i was really mad at DH and told him to drink a shot of breastmilk.  he said sure, but i felt too bad to let him.

    I am not ashamed to admit it, you are not the only one. I have tasted it and it is sweet tasting.

    Yes...the first time was about 30 years ago...ya know, since my mom bf'd me and all.  (Does that make anyone have to change their answer?)

     But recently, just once. I was pumping and I got a few drops on my fingers, so i licked it off out of curiosity. It tastes like the milk like after a bowl of honey nut cheerios.

     I suppose I understand why some people are weirded out about it...but let's keep things in perspective....Most of us drink milk that comes out of a COW!!! I am a lot cleaner than a cow, and I am not pumped full of growth hormones.

    I agree with this.  Although it almost made me no longer willing to give her the Vitamin D drops... they taste awful!!!

    That's my hubbs too. he requested shower sex so he didn't have to worry about squirting!

    I haven't yet, but I'm worried if I don't taste before I finish breastfeeding, I'll spend my whole life wondering what it tasted like... We had this conversation at  a dinner party and the four other couples had all tasted the breastmilk, both the women and the men, and three of those women hadn't even breastfed, but tried it when their milk came in the first week.
