I feel silly. I went to the ER after experiencing cramps, tightness, and slight back pain for 4 hours this afternoon.
Early Braxton Hicks. **sigh** Duh.
In my defense, I never had them with DD, so I had no idea they could feel so... REAL. (Those things are no joke-- I really thought something was wrong.)
Here's to 25 weeks of my uterus toning it up.
<--- (ginger ale) LOL
Anybody else feeling them early/earlier than last time?
Re: ER visit for cramping: better safe than sorry
// I love you too. //
I only went to the ER because
1) They lasted 4 hours and didn't go away with chugging water, changing my position, or moving around
and
2) It involved back pain, which is (apparently) one of the differences between BH and early labor/mc pains.
I'm not an expert on this subject. I didn't have a single moment of natural laboring with DD. Don't be afraid to call your OB. I did, and they told me to go in.
Glad everything is ok! Sorry you had to spend time at the ER to find that out, though.
I had tons of BH with DS but they never hurt in my back. That would have worried me too and like I said - I've had them
.
