I love DH because he's my rock. Complete and total meltdown today when we were told I needed to be induced within the week, and I just didn't know how to feel. He just held me while I cried, and kissed my head and told me everything will be okay.
he puts up with my craziness during pregnancy. Especially when he brings me frozen yogurt from sweet frogs without me asking . He also calms my panic attacks by hugging me.
... of how he is handling everything. Putting up with my insomnia and running out to get me jalape?o poppers after a long day of work. His calmness about everything and how he points out things he's picked up reading baby books, from childbirth class, or from his friends and co workers. Not making fun of my waddle, swollen puffy feet, or my crazy mood swings. There really are a lot of things

He brings me delicious food, works his butt off so that I don't have to take on as many hours at work, he and DS are best buds and watching them play together is so heart-melting, he is being a huge trooper with our severe lack of sex-life, and he splits my favorite beers with me 80/20 so I can enjoy a small taste but not worry about wasting a whole one. He totally rocks.
A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.
He told me he gets teary when he thinks about having our new little buddy here. I love him for being a good dad. He'd also run to DQ at the drop of a hat
...and he had a cabbage patch doll when he was little and remembers his name: David Luke. So adorable.
He gives me foot rubs on a regular basis, talks to my belly and is quick to get me whatever I ask for from the kitchen. He also was 98% responsible for decorating baby girl's nursery and he did such a great job!
He's my best friend. We love doing everything together and enjoy each others company.
I do, however, miss the blizzard runs etc... Totally wears off with each subsequent pregnancy, haha.

This! I could have written this myself. We were told last tuesday that we will be having our baby girl this tuesday & she will be into surgery shortly after birth. I just ran to him & cried for ten minutes straight without speaking & he just held me, kissed me, & told me everything was going to be okay like yours did!
Love this post, its always great to remember they are really great too:)

DH waited on me for 14.5 weeks while I was on bed rest, listens to my rants & vents. When my department was moving he got my boxes, pictures, etc and brought them home. During Labor Day weekend DH & an out state friend assembled DD's crib while I watched. Whenever he went baby shopping he sent me pictures to make me feel part of the process.
First reason that comes to mind this morning as he runs off to work-- he works his butt off so I can be a SAHM and we can live comfortably, and never complains about it.
Man, reading some of these is making me want to cry at work!
I appreciate the hell out of my husband. He loses sleep right along with me to rub my restless legs and sore back. He didn't mock me for eating dinner while rocking on my giant exercise ball. He always encourages my cravings so I'll get what I want and be happy. He tells me how he's looking forward to this baby and taking care of them. He's been great.
My DH is awesome! We've gotten so much closer during this pregnancy. He constantly tells me he's so proud of me and how much he appreciates me carrying our DS. AND he has rubbed my feet, belly, and back every night since the stick showed 2 lines... while letting me watch Real Housewives/Greys Anatomy! So so so thankful for him!
i love my DH because he makes me laugh so hard sometimes now that i almost pee myself! he also keeps me from going crazy over baby details and people's opinions with long talks and hugs (mainly hugs). I really don't know what I would do without him! he's put up with a lot of hormones so far!
I love my DH because he puts up with my craziness! Not to mention he works really hard so I can be a SAHM, then comes home and helps with the kiddos, cooks dinner if I've had a rough day, brings me chocolate treats, and never ever complains about it.
BTW~ Awesome post! It's nice to hear good things our DH's do. Really makes me sit back and think about how good I have it, even though it doesn't always feel that way.
He helped me keep calm and focus on the positives with me needing a scheduled c-section
He will keep me calm and focused during my c-section and be supportive afterwards. He's amazing when I'm sick or scared. He's super excited that he is going to be the first one to hold the baby.
He also left me money with a note to get myself a pumpkin pie blizzard. so cute b/c I have been craving one and haven't indulged b/c of GD.
I love DH because even when his back hurts, he comes home from work to finish the new kitchen floor for the baby shower.
He reminds me that he'll do anything I ask, I just need to open my mouth and actually say something. (I'm so used to doing things independently, I forget he's willing to help. Like tying my shoes.).
He lets me steal his comforter b/c I'm cold and then let's me snuggle all over him to get comfortable, all the while baby is kicking him in the side.
He remembers the little things. I had been reading a book series and have been waiting for the last one to come out. It came out 2 days ago but I was going to wait until I got paid next week. He picked it up on his way home from work : I can't believe he remembered or that he even knew what it was called!
Re: I love DH because..
Well, I guess I should add that I love him more than just going to get me an ice cream.

When he cuddles me in the middle of the night, he makes sure to lower his hand to the baby bump so he cuddles her too.
He gets teary when he has to leave us for a week-long business trip.
He tells me he'll love me even with stretch marks and that I'm beautiful and very sexy pregnant.
He secretly took a New Daddy book to his business trip and didn't tell me about it.
He's already working overtime to save up so I can stay home longer with Baby Girl.
He = the greatest.

Lucky you!
