Motherlove Nipple Cream

Anyone use this? I've been using lanolin and cetaphil and my nipples do not feel soothed. They seriously ache after each feeding. I just ditched the nipple shield this week, so the pain is probably due to my nipples actually being sucked on now instead of rubbing up against the shield, right? I also think her feeding is increasing my supply, because my entire boob is sore after a feeding as well. Anyways, I am thinking of trying the Motherlove stuff. I'm hoping the pain subsides soon!

    I use it instead of lansinoh because it wasn't as thick as the lanolin. I like it so much more. I used it heavily along with breast shells to keep fabric off my tender healing nips for a couple weeks but I haven't put anything on for a week or two now that LO nurses better and I'm healed. Good luck!!

    I bought it but didn't need it this time around. But I'll tell you from experience that soothies gel pads work wonders. Even when you start getting bitten ;

    Yeah, I don't like the thickness of the lanolin. The cetaphil isn't as thick but I've basically just been using that as a lube for pumping. I hope it helps!

    This. Have been using it since day one and have never had a nipple problem. Now that BFing is easy on my nips, I use it before and after pumping. And as Chapstick. Love it.

    I like it lots, but it hasn't been a magic no pain solution. My nips, particlarly righty, are still sore. I pump tons though and dd's latch, on those occasions I nurse, isn't great. I'd say it was worth the 8 though.

    I have it, and I love it.  No problems so far.  Plus, you can use it for dry skin.  I've been using it on my hands.  So at least it won't be going to waste after.  

    Negative side...I don't really care for the way it smells.
