PP Check Up Tomorrow

I'm not sure why but I'm nervous for this appointment.  The OB will do an internal exam right?  Nothing has been down there since baby was born and I'm terrified the exam is going to hurt.  With Ben's delivery I had an episiotomy and still had a severe tear.  I also have two hard lumps in my breast that have not gone away since the last time I had Mastitis.  I'm worried about what the treatment is going to be since the antibiotics did nothing to reduce these like they did with the first round.  What should I expect at the appointment? Especially for you girls that delivered vaginally and had stitches was the exam painful or more uncomfortable then usual?

    Mine had discomfort, but not as bad as I'd imagined. I had both internal and external stitches so they had to confirm healing went well. I was caught offguard by them doing a pap, especially since it was less than a year after my last one. The pap wasn't bad though, pretty sure the cervix thought it was a cakewalk after delivery, lol.

    GL, you'll be glad to have it behind you. For me the worries leading up to it were worse than the reality.

    I have no experience (yet) but I'm dreading my 6w PP appointment! Good luck tomorrow!

    See my post below! I also had a pap done because it was due last month, and I normally have some pain with my discomfort, but only had some minor discomfort. I had internal stitches as well. My appt. was also just shy of 4 weeks instead of the full 6 weeks.
