How often do you hang out with family (other than husband/kids)? We see my family once or twice a month and DH's family slightly more often since they live a little closer. Sometimes his mom will drop by if she is visiting a friend who lives in our neighborhood. The kids are always there though.
How often do you do your own thing outside of the house (exercise, pedicure, shopping, ect) ? I go to Weight Watchers once a week with DD. But starting this week, she has to stay home because she "talks" to loudly now
I'm excited to get 1 hour a week by myself!
How often do you go on a date (alone) with your husband/partner? We watch TV together 3-4 times a week, but that probably doesn't count, huh? We rarely go out just the two of us. Maybe once every 3 or 4 months?

Edit- I will say that this is ok with me. If I need time I tell DH and he is fine watching L. He often tells me to go out.

How often do you go on a date (alone) with your husband/partner? Never. We went out once since DS was born...my Mom came back out for a visit when DS was about 8 weeks old.

You have no friends here? That is a ridiculous thing to say. I live in Palatine---how far is that from you? We should be getting together at least monthly, dontcha think?
Haha, it's only like 40 minutes from me! I was just in the Schaumburg area last weekend. I've hung out with a few Bumpies near me, so I can't say I have zero friends...just not any that I hang out with on a regular basis.
What is this personal time you speak of? Sigh. The highlight of my week, no lie, is having my mom watch my LO for two hours on Monday and Tuesday so I can go hide in her office and write on my laptop.
Other than that, I'm with LO 24/7. My husband will occasionally watch her so I can shower. Otherwise, when he's at work, she's in there with me too.
How often do you hang out with family (other than husband/kids) ? We see MIL almost every weekend (she lives in the same town). My parents will come over every 3-4 weeks.
How often do you do your own thing outside of the house (exercise, pedicure, shopping, ect) ? I try to get out for a couple hours every weekend (leave E with DH). Usually just to grocery shop or go to the mall.

Your post makes me sad. I'm mostly a lurker so hopefully this isn't creepy, but you are a fun poster, if that's any consolation! I also wish it was a little more active here...

We have a couple that live nearby, we met them in birth class so we have similar age babies. We hang out once a week or so. I have no other friends here, only friends of hubby's wives. They are all rich and SAH moms who don't get that I have to work and also even though I work and hubby works we are still not rich.
i had a friend once but she moved to Ohio. I don't make friends easily. I'm nice though. I swear I'm nice!!
My family is all in Ireland I see some members maybe twice a year depending on who is visiting us, when we get to go there etc. we see hubby's mom most weeks.
i don't do stuff for myself like pedicures. Sometimes I go to the gym. Maybe once a fortnight right now. This is because of laziness. I could totally go more if I wanted. The only activity I do is the gym it's the only one that doesn't cost money (I mean we pay the monthly fee anyway). I work full time so that is my "me time" lol
we have had one date night since she was born. My mil is not always available to sit, I don't like using precious freezer milk then having to pump later. Babysitters are expensive and it already costs money to go out without paying 15-20 bucks an hour for a sitter.

My BFF here has a baby 1 month younger so we see each other probably 5 times a week. We also do a monthly dinner party with 3 other couples (with babies). DH is ok watching LO all weekend long usually if I want to do anything.

How often do you do your own thing outside of the house (exercise, pedicure, shopping, ect) ? Usually on the weekends. DH will pick up LO from daycare (2 days a week) and that gives me an hour to myself.
How often do you go on a date (alone) with your husband/partner? We are trying to make this more of a priority. We have a highschool babysitter and do babysitting swaps with other friends. I'd say twice a month average.

It's rare, and I usually have LO with me. I don't have many friends so not really anyone to go out with.

I take LO to my mom and dad's every morning cause I have to be at work early. I usually see them every weekend to hang out and I see DH's mom about every other weekend.

Since DH is gone for military training this would be never. Sometimes I run to the store before I get LO from daycare, but that's rare. I better get used to it because when DH deploys this will be the norm.

When he's here, my mom will keep LO about every other weekend so we can go out. We try to hang out for at least an hour every night and spend time together.

- Maybe once a month, but LO is always with me. I went out with friends once without her and quickly learned that DH and I are no longer in the same life stage as them and really have nothing in common with them anymore. I have zero friends with kids.

- Once a month. All of our family lives out of state.

- Once every other month if it's something personal like a hair appointment. I'll grocery shop once a week at night, after she goes to bed.

- Maybe once every three or four months. We've only gone out a total of three times since she was born.

With Maggie, about once or twice a week. We go to a friend's house every Sunday for football, so there's that. Without Maggie, maybe once every other week or so. Maybe more...I see friends every weekend, with or without her.

This week is a really bad example, but we usually try to work it so I go for a run two or three times a week, I go to yoga once or twice a week, and I'm in such desperate need of a pedicure it's not even funny. My feet are rather hobbit-ish.

Not nearly enough. We have a babysitter who is coming on Friday night so we can do dinner and a movie, but it's our first alone night since before Maggie was born. We've gone to a wedding and we've had people over, but we haven't gone out alone in a long time.
