From 3rd Tri Board, website warning!

Warning for all of you fellow mamas out there! ... I ordered a crib set that was "made to order" from a website (bunnyberry.com) with great reviews. Long story short(er) the bedding got delayed due to them running out of a fabric so they were sending me a free sheet and gift to keep me happy in the meantime. (as they should I really REALLY "splurged") I got a shipping confirmation that said the bedding finally shipped with a fed ex tracking number.. Its not valid! Doesn't work at all! Fed Ex told me to contact the website. I did... it in fact was not the shipping for my crib set it was the shipping for my "free gifts".

Skip to, free gifts never arrived but it says they were delivered. The customer service rep told me nothing she could do it should be here somewhere..maybe I should talk to the neighbors, or LOOK OVER THEIR FENCES!! Are you joking!! Then told me to wait for the postman and ask him myself! Outrageous! I couldn't believe it!  Also, apparently the crib set did ship last week they don't know why I didn't get a shipping confirmation and they told me the tracking number. 'Im keeping an eye on that thing! I would hate for it not to show up after spending that much money and have her tell me to go looking over fences! Ugh! Never again will I order from that site!

  • If you used a credit card,  I would alert your card and see if they will take care of it to reimburse you

  • Unfortunately, it sounds like such is life with things getting delayed. Sometimes fabric does get backordered and things suck, but it's the business world. I think it was nice for them to send you a free gift, but aside from coming to your house themselves to look for it, all they can do it put in a claim with the carrier or tell you to look for it and ask neighbors. If you paid for it and they can't locate it, they need to refund you. That's very common and actually what UPS or Fedex often suggest. If you're still hopeful that the bedding may show up and you aren't at the point of charging back then I'd give it until then before you smash them all over the internet. JMHO.
  • (this got long sorry..)I know it "does happen" that fabric gets back ordered that's not the part I'm irritated about..  it is TERRIBLE customer service to tell someone to look for it themselves! Especially to say to a customer I dunno go look over your neighbors fences..are you kidding! They should be the ones handling it..not telling me to call all over. Which I did before contacting them.. I spent near $500 with their company and they describe themselves as a high end boutique yet have worse customer service then wal mart! I guess I would be less frustrated if they would have contacted me in the first place about the fabric back order.. I had to go to them asking where my set was.. then they OFFERED to send the onsies with the sheet that was already expected as it was apart of the special for ordering through them getting an extra crib sheet. Also, it concerns me that they have gotten the tracking and shipping info wrong twice now! Either it has shipped or not. They need to keep better track of their items! Also, I thought it was interesting that they charged my card when I purchased on Sept 16th..most places don't charge until the item ships! I trying to stay hopeful that I'm not getting scammed!

  • If the company shipped the merchandise they have no control over it. If the shipping company doesn't get it to you then yes you should talk to your neighbors to see if they possibly got a delivery that's for you. I SAH and my neighbors don't. I get their deliveries all the time and sometimes it does take a day or so for me to get it to them as our schedules don't always overlap.

  • Since you bought online, you probably used a credit card. Keep documentation of your attempts to contact the seller and post office to resolve the issue, and if it doesn't show up in a reasonable amount of time, contact your credit card company to dispute the charges. One of the many benefits of purchasing with a credit card.
