I had a horrible dream last night. My dreams are pretty vivid normally, but this one was so violent. I know that MH says whenever I talk in my sleep, it's often me yelling or being unhappy, so I must dream things like this often without knowing it.
But last night's really weirded me out-- I basically beat the cr@p out of some boys (like 8-13 yrs old) for picking on some other kids. I mean, I was VIOLENT. And full of rage. I woke up still feeling it.
And I was horrified.
Anyone else having really intense dreams? Is it the hormones?? I can't think that this is good for the baby to sense this rage from me...

Last night I had a dream that one of my friends was dying in my house! It was terrible and sad...and several other people were with me just waiting with him...we were trying to make him feel comfortable...several of us..including him...were crying...he was all sweaty and exhausted...it was very odd because this friend of mine is very young (in his 20s) and in good health as far as I know...I see him on a fairly regular basis via another friend of ours, and he seems great. I woke up completely weirded out and upset.
Me, too. On both counts!

I hate to say it but you could have them scattered all throughout the pregnancy. I still get the occasional bizarre dreams. Had one about a week ago where my baby pushed through the upper part of my belly and then was contented to stay there. I had this straight line across and his head was just sticking out, but since I was worried about leaking liquid and it was still too early for delivery, I did a lick'n'stick overlap of layers to close things back up again.
Yes, they just get weirder. Sorry.
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
The period where they were sex dreams was awesome like Tigger said. I had my first sex dream ever in late first tri. I was even embarrassed to tell DH what happened. Daniele - maybe you will get those soon.
Me, too.
I was blaming it on the lack of sex we have been having due to my m/s and crazy schedules.
I dreamt the other night that DH was trying to talk me into letting him bring home a sister wife.
Nothing too off the wall yet, but I woke up really upset after that one. I told DH about it and he laughed.
January PAL siggie challenge; Good advice:
Hi,
My first post on The Bump...I too have been having dreams like crazy until recently. All my dreams from the beginning were not good dreams. Just this past week they were more graphic and pretty scary so much so that I would wake in a fright and would not be able to go back to sleep.
Until recently I was having my crazy nightmarish dreams that woke me and I found myself a few hours later in the hospital. I'm currently on bed rest and ironically I no longer have dreams at all.
