The best gift ever...

DS usually wakes to eat at 2am, 5am, and for the day at 7am. I have been getting up for the day with him at 7 but noticed he often went right back to sleep, probably because it's still dark out at 7. So I decided to go back to sleep with him. Yesterday and today he let me sleep in until 9. I feel SO refreshed with an extra two hours. DH thinks we have been getting up for the day at 7... I am not going to tell him we lay around in bed until 9 when the house is a disaster like it is now...

    I do the same thing and feel so much better now! I figure you have to make up for the time you were up at night feeding the baby right?

    Is your DD in daycare? Sometimes my DS is asleep at 7 am but I have to get up anyway because my DD is climbing the walls by 7 am. I wish I could sleep in later!

    Yep, DD goes to full-time preschool, and DH takes her. It is awesome. I miss her, but she is high-energy. My hat is off to those of you with others at home.

    yay for more sleep!!!

    My little man around 7 am doesn't want to go back to bed in the bedroom but if we come out to the living room, in 15 mins he's back asleep so I just cat nap on the couch a little while longer.
