Running out of room

In the last 2 weeks I have actually lost weight (not viewing this as a good thing) but my belly has grown, noticeably. LO has started with the hiccups and still insists on trying to do somersaults & full body flips even though there is definitely not enough room in there. It actually painful at this point! I feel bad saying I wish he/she would give it a rest because I love knowing he/she is active, healthy, etc. but seriously... I need to sleep and figure out how to eat when even water is causing heartburn.

Doctor's appointment tomorrow though so we'll get a chance to ask lots of questions

Re: Running out of room

  • My little lady is doing the same thing!

Even when it's not painful, it's definitely distracting while I'm at work or talking to someone. Ha!

  • I'm not getting the flips anymore, which is alright, but the kicks and jabs are numerous still! The thing is that the pushing, like when her elbow or knee or foot or butt sticks out, really hurts. And then she'll stay like that for awhile, and I know she's stretching out because there's like no more room, but it just feels so uncomfortable. But it is still fun and a little gross to watch from the outside! LOL

  • Try tums and see if they help you. And I would definitely see what your Dr suggests.

This, I have to take 1-2 tums before bed every night or within minutes of lying down I'll have bad acid reflux.

My Dr also ok'd me to take Zantac, so I will take one of those at night if I ate something more likely to give me heartburn (tomatoes, onions, etc).

  • I've been popping 2-3 Tums after each meal and not laying flat. I was waking up with the worst heartburn of my life a last week.

This little girl has been so active this week! She'll rush to the left or right side and make my whole stomach lopsided and then stay like that for awhile. It's painful!
