We have stride rite...they were too cute to pass up, and I have gotten them on sale.
Actually planning to buy a few more pairs since LO is learning how to walk and our DCP asked us to get him used to wearing shoes so that when he's steady walking the transition to the toddler room is easier because he'll keep shoes on.
I just got mine a pair of robeez. Love them so far. Don't think they provide much warmth in cold but I don't really plan on having LO out for a long time. I also put socks on her.
I buy StrideRites when they are on sale - for example, I will buy a $50 pair for no more than $29, and yes, to me, it's totally worth it. These shoes are durable and DD wears her StrideRites every single day until she outgrows them, even though she has other cheaper shoes, too. They are good for her feet, and super comfy. To me, something that is more expensive but that lasts longer and is more comfortable is worth way more than dozens of cheapo shoes.
I really like the cheap Koala Kids shoes from BRU! They have worked great for us and are much easier to get on than any of the other shoes we've tried.

Koala Kids work great for up and were only $7! I have a pair from Carter's that don't fit right and aren't good for outside. The other shoes I have are Robeez that were a gift (thank goodness cause they were $45!)
Re: Baby Shoes - Stride Rite is high quality but expensive! Worth the price??
