I have been going to the gym 5 times a week minimum for 1.5 to 2 hours a day for 2 months. I have lost 7 lbs. Over the last 2 weeks the number on the scale had not budged. Not even a half a lb. Seriously. I know there is a period where you don't lose weight and I am eating well during the week and if I could continue that on weekends that would be awesome. But come on!! I need some visual progress Sure I did buy myself a bunch of clothes bought in stores I haven't considered in a while but it's not the same. I am still buying the largest sizes they carry.
Also. My trainer got promoted and I love her so I am happy for her and she made sure she found me someone she thinks I will like. Problem is she has paired me with the ONLY trainer at the gym I find intimidating in all her figure skater muscles in her poop perfection.

This- The scale says I haven't lost a single lb since running the last few weeks, but my clothes fit differently. Scales do lie, damn it.
Muscle weighs more than fat. So you may have lost far more than 7 pounds and have gained more muscle. Keep it up it takes time and the fact that you have stuck with it is half the battle.
DH is a HVAC tech but he also trains on the side.
And because my PIP will almost certainly be a fail, someone else feel free to fix it LoL

Right so 5 lbs of muscle would make you smaller in inches because it's not as big as 5 lbs of muscle.
