spotting, blood tests, and waiting....

in 1st Trimester

So I was having some cramping, back pain, and lightheadedness last night and then at work this morning I started spotting so I called the DR.

 They did a blood test and I go back on Thursday for another one and either Friday or Saturday I will know if I am having a miscarriage or not.

 Never knew how attached I already was until today knowing that this could possibly be all over. I don't like waiting. My husband is being great tonight and making me think positive. I love him for that!

 This pregnancy was a complete shock but the greatest unexpected present I could ever have gotten. I really am hoping and praying for the best but I am scared as hell! Tomorrow was supposed to be my first OB appt, I was so looking forward to hearing the heart beat...Now I will just have to wait...

    Sending lots of thoughts and prayers. Try to stay positive. Cramping and back pain is common as is light spotting in the first trimester. Keep us updated! Good luck! <3

    I am so sorry you have to be in this limbo period. I hope all is well. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. I hope that these are just those common pains that happen often in first tri. My T&Ps are with you Brit.

    I wouldn't worry too much I'm 9 weeks and started spotting and I got s strong heart beat yesterday! Spotting is very common!

    I had a very similar situation a few weeks ago. Thankfully everything turned out to be just fine and the doc said we had a healthy little baby growing just right!

     

    Try not to worry (I know it is hard). I hope everything turns out alright for you! T&Ps!!!
